The expanded program aims not only to identify and honor outstanding digital technology firms but also to provide deeper, more comprehensive, and accurate information about Vietnamese digital enterprises across various sectors and business sizes.
The "Digital Economy Enterprise Map of Vietnam" is envisioned as a foundational element for the sustained growth and refinement of Vietnam’s digital technology landscape. By 2025, the "Top 10 Digital Technology Enterprises of Vietnam" program will run concurrently with the development and finalization of this comprehensive map. This dual approach is designed to create a robust and precise framework, fostering genuine recognition and enabling businesses to proactively leverage opportunities.

Key Components of the Digital Economy Enterprise Map
During a press conference held on February 27th, Mr. Lam Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of VINASA, provided further details on the implementation of the "Digital Economy Enterprise Map of Vietnam" – also referred to as VINASA Tech Map. This map is structured around three core operational groups:
- Enterprise Identification: Mapping and evaluating enterprises within the digital technology ecosystem to enhance their competitiveness.
- Connectivity: Establishing connections with investment networks and facilitating innovation support.
- Market Expansion: Engaging in activities to promote trade and expand into international markets.
Mr. Nam explained that VINASA Tech Map aims to serve as a reliable source of information for "customers" – active digital technology companies. This aspect of the VINASA Tech Map will highlight the development trajectory and future innovation potential of enterprises. Key indicators for assessment include:

"Through these indicators, the map will provide comprehensive data on Vietnam’s digital technology enterprise ecosystem, categorizing them by sector, scale, innovation capability, and development potential," Mr. Lam Quang Nam elaborated.
Publication and Future Development
VINASA Tech Map is slated for official release in August 2025. Deputy General Secretary of VINASA, Mr. An Ngoc Thao, indicated that the map aims to help enterprises identify their positioning within specialized sectors and to serve as a guide for them to build and implement strategic plans. This proactive approach is expected to enhance their competitive edge and foster sustainable development.
"With this map, regulatory bodies will have scientific data to formulate effective policies," Mr. Thao stated. "Domestic and international investors can efficiently and accurately access potential Vietnamese enterprises. In the future, the map will be refined to encompass a broader spectrum of enterprises across various niches, not limited to those participating in the Top 10 program."
