PVOil đồng hành 11 năm cùng giải đua địa hình VOC

The opening ceremony of the Vietnam Offroad Cup PVOil Cup 2026 (PVOil VOC 2026) officially took place on the crisp morning of October 31 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Dong Mo, located in Hanoi’s Son Tay town. This year’s tournament marks a monumental milestone for the motorsports community as it officially enters the national championship system for the very first time. Beyond the shift in administrative status, the tournament highlights nearly two decades of grassroots development, transforming from a passionate gathering of offroad enthusiasts into the premier national offroad racing competition in Vietnam.
At the heart of this evolution is the enduring partnership between the event organizers and corporate sponsors. The PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOil), serving as the title sponsor for eight consecutive years, has been a cornerstone of the event since 2016. Marking its eleventh year of continuous involvement, PVOil has cemented its reputation not merely as a corporate backer, but as a dedicated stakeholder in the growth of Vietnamese motorsport culture.
A Milestone Partnership Spanning More Than a Decade
The journey of PVOil VOC 2026 is deeply intertwined with the collaborative efforts of the Vietnam Offroad Cup organizing committee, OTV Media, and the expansive Otofun community. Established nearly two decades ago as a localized playground for rugged vehicle owners, the competition has steadily matured.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Hung, Deputy General Director of PVOil, reflected on the remarkable trajectory of the event. "Accompanying VOC since 2016, PVOil is extremely proud to have contributed to the remarkable development of the tournament. We deeply value the relationships built over many years and place strong trust in the future growth of Vietnam’s offroad motorsport community," Mr. Hung stated. He emphasized that the corporation’s commitment extends far beyond financial sponsorship, representing a long-term strategic alignment with the values of resilience, mechanical mastery, and community spirit championed by offroad drivers.

Over the past eleven years, PVOil’s steadfast financial and logistical support has provided the necessary stability for the organizing committee to expand the scale of the tracks, improve safety protocols, and attract a broader tier of professional and amateur competitors alike. This sustained backing has played a decisive role in transitioning offroad racing from an underground hobby into a recognized, regulated national sport.
Technical Scope and Track Architecture for 2026
Scheduled across three intense days from October 30 to November 1, the 2026 edition of the PVOil VOC features a highly demanding technical layout spread across approximately 200 hectares of diverse natural terrain. The venue at Dong Mo offers a grueling combination of red dirt hills, deep water crossings, dense forest tracks, swampy wetlands, and jagged stream beds that push both machines and drivers to their absolute limits.
The competition is structured into four distinct primary categories: Basic Pick-up, Advanced Pick-up, Open, and Professional (Expanded). To manage the immense scale of the event, the organizing committee deployed a total of 24 distinct tracks—comprising 23 standard racing courses and one specialized Adventure track—divided into six independent operational zones. This compartmentalized layout ensures seamless logistical execution, efficient live broadcasting, and enhanced safety oversight.
Notably, the Professional (Expanded) category alone features 17 specialized tracks, incorporating the notorious Adventure course designed to test the ultimate limits of vehicular engineering and driver endurance. Navigating these treacherous courses requires not only exceptional mechanical preparation, including reinforced suspension systems and high-torque winches, but also flawless coordination between drivers and co-drivers.
Comprehensive Logistical Support and Fuel Infrastructure
A critical element in the operational success of PVOil VOC 2026 is the robust logistical infrastructure provided by the title sponsor. Recognizing the extreme fuel consumption and specialized lubrication requirements of offroad racing vehicles operating under maximum load, PVOil has supplied 20,000 liters of high-grade fuel and lubricants for the tournament.

To ensure uninterrupted competition, the corporation deployed mobile refueling tankers strategically stationed across the sprawling 200-hectare venue, providing direct access to fuel for competing teams at critical junctures. Furthermore, PVOil established an interactive brand experience zone adjacent to the refueling stations. This dedicated space allowed spectators, media personnel, and athletes to explore the company’s latest energy products, technical lubricants, and automotive services, bridging the gap between heavy industrial applications and consumer motorsports.
The seamless delivery of petroleum products in such rugged, off-grid terrain underscores PVOil’s logistical capability and its dedication to keeping the wheels of competition turning without delay.
Promoting Safe Driving Culture and Broad Social Impact
Beyond the mechanical roar of engines and the competitive pursuit of podium finishes, PVOil VOC 2026 serves a broader educational and social purpose. The event successfully gathers hundreds of skilled drivers from provinces and cities across Vietnam, fostering a tight-knit community bound by mutual respect and a shared passion for exploration.
According to the organizing committee, the tournament places a heavy emphasis on promoting the development of automotive sports in a safe, structured environment. By providing a legal, regulated space for offroad enthusiasts to test their capabilities, the event actively works to deter illegal street racing and reckless driving on public roads.
Furthermore, the championship acts as a powerful vehicle for raising public awareness regarding traffic safety. The organizers and participating teams frequently utilize the massive media attention surrounding the event to champion responsible driving habits, advocate for the proper use of safety equipment, and spread the ethos of disciplined driving culture throughout the country.

Financial Stakes and Prize Distribution
The competitive intensity of PVOil VOC 2026 is matched by substantial financial incentives for the victors. The organizing committee announced a total prize pool valued at 526 million VND, distributed across various categories in the form of cash awards and high-value fuel vouchers provided by PVOil.
This financial backing not only rewards the immense physical and financial investments made by the racing teams in preparing their vehicles—often overhauling engines, custom-building roll cages, and installing specialized all-terrain tires—but also elevates the professional standing of the sport. As the curtain falls on the 2026 edition, the successful integration of the tournament into the national championship system signals a bright, institutionalized future for offroad racing in Vietnam, with PVOil remaining a steadfast pillar of its ongoing evolution.
